ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - SAN ANTONIO, TX
Talon/LPE has an immediate opening for a Professional Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering. The engineer is responsible for leading various engineering or environmental projects. The engineer will also act as a technical specialist in support of other projects. The engineer should have a desire to further engineering knowledge as it relates to work opportunities.

Responsibilities include leading large or complex projects, mentoring junior level engineering personnel, developing technical guidance documents, standards, or protocols and evaluating current and experimental technologies for practical applications. Responsibilities will also include the capability of conducting all operation and maintenance related work associated with various types of engineered remediation systems, conducting various types of remediation feasibility tests, providing engineering oversight of various types of construction activities, conducting field work associated with SPCC plans, SWPPP, ESA's, and other field work as designated by the supervisor, analyzing various types of field data including, but not limited to feasibility tests and system operation data. The engineer will also prepare various types of engineering or environmental reports under the direction of a senior staff member, provide technical support to Engineering Technicians, effectively communicate with external contacts as directed by the supervisor and be available to complete work as required. Travel overnight stays, or time in excess of 40 hours per week may be required to maintain project schedules or other deliverables.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from ABET accredited school, a current Texas Professional Engineer License and a Texas Professional Engineer certification.
