What Service Are We Providing?

Talon/LPE is an environmental consulting company providing environmental response and disinfecting services. Using a CDC and EPA approved formula and process, Talon/LPE's trained professionals eradicate COVID-19 on hard surfaces where the virus may be present. According to researchers within the Department of Interior, the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, and as indicated in the Journal of Applied Microbiology, and Critical Reviews in Analytical Chemistry, Talon/LPE is utilizing one of the most effective methods known to combat the virus.

What’s In Our Solution?

Talon/LPE is using a high-grade 6% Hydrogen Peroxide solution. Ultimately, this solution contains only hydrogen peroxide (at industrial levels) and water.

Is It Toxic?

This solution degrades to leave no toxic films on surfaces treated. Talon/LPE’s disinfecting product breaks down into naturally occurring water and oxygen. The goal was to utilize a product that leaves no lasting effect. This is exactly what we've accomplished in using this solution.

What Equipment is Used?

Talon/LPE uses a fogger to disperse the disinfectant. Following the proper contact time, Talon/LPE personnel reenter the area to wipe down all hard surfaces determined to be high traffic/high-contact.

Why Use Talon/LPE?

Talon/LPE is an emergency response company with over 23 years of experience in hazardous and biological materials response to products including; biohazards, pesticides, corrosives, and petroleum. Our team of professionals are qualified to handle a virus of this kind and have experience working with the disinfecting agent. Talon/LPE is insured, HAZWOPER trained and certified, medically qualified and Respirator-Fit tested. Protection of people and the environment is the cornerstone of our business.

Why Would Someone Use This Without the Known Presence of COVID-19?

As many know, the symptoms of COVID-19 are often asymptomatic. Talon/LPE’s expectation is to provide a preventative and responsive service. We must be proactive in our response to this threat. The fate of a business owner's employees and customer base is at risk. Business owners can help stop the spread of COVID-19, and provide reassurance to employees and customers through the proper disinfection of their facilities.

How Long Does It Take?

During the process, the area should remain inaccessible. Depending on how large the project is, disinfection could take approximately 2-3 hours. Once the site has been disinfected, the facility is to remain unoccupied for a minimum of 4 hours. Talon/LPE will test the area to ensure air quality is at the recommended levels and the area is safe to enter again.
