Our San Antonio office is growing! Rob Meyer is joining the Talon/LPE team with many years of experience, success and passion. He brings with him a vast amount of knowledge in environmental in-situ remediation and drilling. Better yet, he's a team player with ambition and is excited to join the San Antonio team. What are you most excited about in working at Talon/LPE? 

Talon/LPE offers the opportunity to bring my current expertise to improve a segment of operations as well as the opportunity to continue my professional development surrounded by dedicated team of professionals.

What brought you to Talon/LPE?

I started my search looking for a career with a company who is innovative, dedicated to quality, reinvests in their people, puts their people and their clients at the top and has an eye on being agile to adjust for the future. I believe I have found this at Talon/LPE.

What will your job entail at Talon/LPE?

My duties will primarily be focused on developing the existing drilling services based out of San Antonio as well as improving our existing service offerings within the environmental in-situ remediation sector including internal and external projects.

Out of our ten principles, which one do you value most? Why?

Integrity. As a principle of operation, integrity provides a firm platform that any employee at Talon/LPE can use to address nearly any question or problem that arises. In our industry, there are enough issues to deal with already. The easiest and most productive way to address issues is with open, honest, and timely communication.

What do you consider as your strongest skillset?

I believe that I am driven to quality. When I reach a point where I am satisfied with what I and my teams are producing, it is time to take a closer look and see what can be improved.

What has been your proudest moment in your career?

My teams have led the charge on so many challenging projects, it really is difficult to find a single moment. I think the summation of my proudest moment is a collection of instances where people that I have trained have taken true ownership of a project and driven it to the finish line with the client's goals at heart and a firm understanding of the roadmap to success.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to spend time outdoors playing with the dogs, or our daughter as well as working on the Jeep or building things.

Anything else we didn’t ask, but you’d like to tell us about?

I truly believe that the strength of any team or organization is due to the combined strength of many people working together. No one person can claim sole credit. I hope to bring this attitude to the Talon/LPE team to achieve some great successes, or at least have some good stories along the way.
